Fun Run 2023

35th Annual Husky Pup Fun Run 

Friday, October 13 is the 35th annual Husky Pup Fun Run organized by the Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) to raise money for our school. During the event students run laps around the field and this year will tie dye a long sleeve event t-shirt. 

Historically, the Fun Run raises the majority of the annual income for the PTO to support programs such as ski/snowboard PE, music, classroom supplies, assemblies, staff appreciation, enrichment classes and more. The 4th grade field trip to Sacramento is supported by the PTO to make it free for every student. Each year the PTO saves revenue from the Fun Run to fund grade level accounts for the Sacramento field trip. 

Fundraise

Create your student’s fundraising website today! On the event homepage scroll down and click your student’s grade level then “Join This Team.” Click Page Editor on the left to personalize. The title of your student’s page should be their name to help us recognize student fundraising efforts. Personalize their page with a photo and short story. Closing date can be Oct. 15. Don’t forget to click the “Publish” rocketship button to take your fundraising website live. Share your fundraising page with your friends and family.

Cash and check donations are also accepted. A fundraising envelope will go home with students in a few weeks. Checks can be made out to MES PTO.

5th Grade: 8:20 – 8:40 (Tie Dye 1:00-1:30)

4th Grade: 8:50 – 9:10 (Tie Dye 8:10-8:40)

3rd Grade: 9:20 – 9:40 (Tie Dye 8:45-9:15) 

TK/Kinder 10:15-10:25 (TK Tie Dye 9:20-9:50am) (Kinder Tie Dye 10:30-11:00)

1st Grade: 10:35-10:50 (Tie Dye 9:55-10:25)    

2nd Grade: 11:00-11:15 (Tie Dye 12:25-12:55)
